DARC Service Provider Suite (SPS)

The Axentia SPS is a collection of software modules that establish a concept for putting together and deliver information to mobile and stationary units via DARC. All modules are licensed and configured separately making the system both flexible and scalable. Axentia SPS offers standard data connection interfaces, to make it easy to setup a specific service. With the Axentia SPS it is possible to design and configure the service to meet customers various needs. The SPS forms the entry of the Axentia DARC System. The information is sent through the DARC System and it will be available on the DARC receivers wherever there is FM radio reception.

DDS Server (Data Distribution System)
This is the heart of the Axentia SPS . The DDS provides a general file and packet transmission, tailor made for real-time & multicast environments. All functionality is wrapped into a Windows COM object that easily can be utilized by custom implemented application servers.

DDS Server Features

•  General file and packet transmission over DARC
•  A general compression scheme Fragmentation and Repetitions
•  Encryption (Using Axentia SMS or a Fixed Key scheme)
•  Transmission scheduling of a set of files

On the Client side, the Mobile Net Client is used to defragment files and packets and eventually creates the files that have been received.
